The free check runs on your computer

When you use the free check, your files are read by your own web browser. They are not uploaded to Owedex, Vercel (our website host) or anyone else. No patient information leaves your computer. Close the tab and it's gone.

The “Copy summary” button copies totals only (dollar amounts and counts), never patient names or claim lines.

This website

• No advertising trackers and no selling of data.
• Our host keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and pages requested) for security and reliability.
• If you email us, we keep your email to reply and to follow up about Owedex. Ask and we'll delete it.

Patient data in the Owedex service

• Only after your office and Owedex sign a HIPAA business associate agreement (BAA).
• Stored only with providers that have signed a BAA with Owedex, encrypted in transit and at rest.
• Used only to do the work for your office. Never sold, never shared with insurers.
